Top 7 Leftover Texas Brisket Recipes

Let's jump right in 

1. Sloppy Brisket Sliders 

 Everyone loves a sloppy slider, and this one’s extra special because it uses our Truboy Awesome Smoked BBQ Sauce. 

Ingredients

Truboy Smoked Brisket ( Sliced or Chopped) 

Slider Buns

Pickles (Optional) 

Coleslaw 

Truboy Awesome Smoked BBQ Sauce 

Cheddar Slices 

Truboy Tip - You can use grated cheese as well. 

Recipe 

Toast the Buns with some Butter 

Place the cheese on top of the sliced or chopped smoked brisket and melt it on the stovetop or in the oven. 

Arrange your slider in this order. 

Bun -  Coleslaw - Brisket with Melted Cheese - BBQ Sauce - More Slaw - Pickles - Bun 

This smoked brisket slider will surely be a hit on your next game night or even your date night. All you’ll need is something cold to wash it down. 

2. Cheesy Brisket Nachos 

If it’s movie night with friends or family, you’ll need more than just popcorn. This recipe is simple and ready in minutes. 

Ingredients 

 Tortilla chips 

Salsa dip 

Texas Smoked Brisket(Chopped) 

Black beans 

Pickled jalapenos 

Cheese 

Recipe

Preheat the oven to 375ºF. 

Line a baking sheet with foil and spread chips evenly over the sheet. 

Distribute brisket, salsa, black beans, and jalapeños over the chips.

Generously cover everything with cheese. 

Bake for 10 to 15 minutes or until the cheese is bubbly and melted. 

Let it cool slightly before serving, and top with your favorite dry spice mix.  

For fully loaded nachos, you can add sour cream, guacamole, and our Truboy Awesome Smoked BBQ  sauce.

3. Brisket Quesadilla

This delicious, spicy, cheesy snack will surely be a big hit at home. It is the perfect hors d'oeuvre to serve at small parties and home events. 

Ingredients 

 Texas Smoked Brisket (chopped)

Eggs 

Tortillas 

Cheese 

Chopped green chillies 

Recipe 

Heat a pan over medium-high heat until hot. 

Add beef and eggs; cook and stir until the eggs are scrambled. Season with salt and pepper as desired. 

Top each of two flour tortillas with 1/4 cup of cheese. Divide the chopped smoked beef mixture evenly between the two tortillas. 

Top each with half of the chillies and half of the remaining cheese. Place the remaining two tortillas on top.

Cook the quesadillas, one at a time, for 2 minutes or until the tortilla is lightly browned. Turn and continue cooking for 1 to 2 minutes. 

Cut each quesadilla in half, then cut each half into wedges. Serve with your desired toppings. 

4. Brisket Tacos 

Ingredients 

Texas Smoked Brisket (heated and chopped)

Grated cheese (your choice)

Taco seasoning 

Cilantro 

Onions 

Tomatoes

Hot sauce 

Recipe

Chop up that brisket. If you already have our Truboy BBQ Smoked Chopped Brisket, you can simply heat that up and keep going. 

Add in some of that taco seasoning. 

Chop up lettuce, tomato, and avocado. Mix it up with sour cream and our Truboy Awesome Smoked BBQ Sauce. You can also use any other condiments you like. Leave this mix aside. 

Heat your pan to medium-low and gather avocado oil, tortillas, brisket, and cheese. 

 Grease the pan and lay out your tortillas flat on them. Stack them with chopped brisket along with your veggie mix. Add in your grated cheese. 

Fold when cheese melts, and cook till crispy. 

It's ready in minutes. Serve with extra dip on the side.

5. Cowboy Brisket Casserole 

Ingredients 

Corn bread 

Cheddar spread 

Sweet corn 

Ranch style beans 

Truboy Texas Smoked Brisket (chopped)

Truboy Awesome Smoked BBQ Sauce  

Cheese 

Green onions 

Recipe 

Preheat the oven to 400 degrees. Grease a casserole dish.. 

Prepare cornbread according to the package instructions, using milk and egg. 

Add 1/2 cup of cheddar cheese to the cornbread batter. Spread the batter evenly on the casserole

Spread the boiled corn over the cornbread batter. Bake for 15 minutes.

Remove the casserole from the oven and poke holes throughout the cornbread. While the casserole is baking, mix the chopped brisket with our Truboy Awesome Smoked BBQ Sauce. You can also use any other condiments you like.

Drain the can of beans and pour them over the top of the cornbread. Top with the brisket.

Bake for 10-15 minutes until the cornbread is golden brown. Top with green onions and 1/2 cup of cheddar cheese. Serve immediately.

6. Smoked Brisket Mac N Cheese 

Ingredients  

Truboy Smoked Brisket (Chopped)

Macaroni

Unsalted butter

All purpose flour 

Black pepper

Milk 

Cheddar 

Salt 

Recipe

Cook macaroni according to package instructions. Heat up the leftover brisket. 

In a pan, melt butter and slowly stir in flour, salt, and pepper to create a roux. Add milk and chopped cheese, stirring until smooth. 

Drain the macaroni and add it to the cheese sauce. Divide the mixture among plates, and top with chopped smoked brisket, barbecue sauce, and parsley.

7. Brisket Grilled Cheese 

Ingredients

Cheddar cheese 

Bread
