Smoked Chopped Brisket
Our Signature Smoked Texas Brisket is cooked low and slow for over 14 hours using a blend of Pecan and Mesquite wood. Following the cook, our smoked brisket is rested and chopped.
100% Halal. Our meat is sourced only from local farms that humanely raise livestock and hand-slaughter using the prescribed Zabihah or Halal method.
Our Smoked Texas Briskets are chopped, chilled, and vacuum-sealed to lock in all the flavor and shipped Nationwide and in Canada. Although BBQ meats in the freezer have a long shelf life, we recommend not keeping our delicious chopped smoked brisket for more than 3 months.
Chopped Smoked Brisket Heating Instructions
Oven or Smoked Method
After thawing our chopped Texas brisket, remove it from the vacuum-sealed bag and place it in an oven-safe dish. Add some butter and a quarter cup of water or broth in the same dish and cover it tightly using aluminium foil.
- Place it in a preheated oven at 275ºF for ~60 mins
- Reheat it until its internal temperature reaches 165ºF.
When using the oven/smoker method, ensure you add water/broth and wrap tightly with foil to maintain moisture.
Sous Vide Method
After thawing the meat, place the vacuum-sealed bag in a pot of simmering water or pour the simmering water into the box it arrives in. Leave it in there for about 60 mins. It is important to avoid boiling water.
- Reheat it until its internal temperature reaches 165ºF.
When using the sous vide method, keep the following in mind.
- Please make sure all seals are intact and there aren’t signs of air in the bag. If any, please use the oven/smoker method.
- Discard the water immediately after reheating is completed. Condensation will continue after the reheating process.
- Bring water to a boil then remove from the heat source before placing the meat.
- To get the best results, sous vide each large item separately.
